About the Role

We’re hiring a talented Python Backend Developer who’s passionate about building robust, scalable APIs and cloud-based solutions. What You’ll Be Doing
• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Work with databases – write optimized SQL queries and design efficient database schemas for MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
• Build and integrate microservices that connect with internal and external systems
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and keep them running smoothly
• Ensure your code is fast, secure, and scalable – implementing proper authentication and authorization
• Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests using PyTest
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to ship features end-to-end
• Review code, participate in design discussions, and help improve our development practices
• Document your APIs and system architecture so the team stays in sync
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience in Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and web security
• Real experience with SQL and relational databases – comfortable writing complex queries, optimizations, and working with indexes
• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform:
– AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway
– Or Azure: App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Functions
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Good grasp of OOP, design patterns, and coding best practices
• Git and version control experience
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with Django REST Framework or FastAPI with async programming
• Worked with Celery, Redis, or message queues
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus)
