Key Responsibilities
- Analyze agricultural data and market trends to improve crop yield and quality
- Develop and implement innovative farming practices for sustainable agriculture
- Work closely with farmers, suppliers, and industry partners
- Conduct field trials and demonstrations for new crop varieties and techniques
- Collaborate with agricultural universities and research institutes
- Train and educate farmers on best agronomy practices
- Identify and solve crop-related challenges, especially in corn production
- Organize farmer meetings to promote products and expand contract farming
- Ensure compliance with food safety and agricultural regulations
- Monitor environmental trends and promote responsible farming methods
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
- Master’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Soil Science, or Agricultural Chemistry is a plus
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience as an Agronomist
- Proven experience in crop cultivation and modern farming techniques
- Experience launching agricultural products in the market
- Strong network with government agriculture officers and research institutions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and farmer engagement skills
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and continuous learning
