About this Role
We are hiring a Senior Python Developer to lead backend development for our growing tech company in Pune. You will work on production systems serving thousands of users, build scalable APIs, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
– Design and develop backend systems and REST APIs using Python
– Optimize database queries and improve system performance
– Build microservices architecture for distributed applications
– Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
– Setup and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
– Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions
– Lead technical decisions and guide junior developers
What We Need
– 7+ years of hands-on Python development experience
– Strong knowledge of Django or FastAPI frameworks
– Expert-level SQL and database design skills
– REST API design and system architecture understanding
– Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
– AWS or Azure cloud platform expertise
– Git version control and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
Nice to Have
– Python async programming experience with asyncio or aiohttp
– Message queue systems like RabbitMQ or Celery
– Redis or other caching systems
– AWS or Azure certifications
– Open source contributions
– Team leadership experience
