We’re searching for a customer-focused Freight Broker to connect our valued clients with reliable freight carriers. In this role, you’ll secure new accounts, facilitate seamless communication between clients and carriers, and collaborate closely with dispatchers and drivers to track load statuses.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Freight Broker at US Logistics, you will:
- Connect trustworthy transportation carriers with shippers, managing the shipping needs of multiple companies.
- Identify and select reputable carriers to ensure excellent service for our clients and their shipping lanes.
- Maintain client relationships, generate leads, and attract new prospects, building a robust sales pipeline.
- Acquire new business through strategies like prospecting and cold calling, negotiating favorable rates and services with carriers.
- Provide accurate shipping quotes to customers and assist in load preparations.
Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with a graduate or undergraduate degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Quick assimilation of process knowledge.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of the Freight Industry.
- Professional conduct, appearance, and communication.
