Job Description: Team Lead IT Infrastructure

Role Overview: The Team Lead for IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the IT infrastructure team. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure

Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support1.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development sessions1.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment1.
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance and support of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems2.
    • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure2.
    • Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans2.

 

 

  • Project Management:
    • Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget3.
    • Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions3.
    • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products3.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure4.
    • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive4.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and project requirements5.
  • Incident and Problem Management:
    • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and incidents2.
    • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and problems to minimize downtime and impact on business operations2.
