Responsibilities
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with a solution-driven, cross-functional development team to design, develop, and implement new products and integrations.
- Ensure technical strategies align with business goals to drive the success of the platform.
- Code Quality and Maintenance:
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards and best practices.
- Fix bugs, optimize system performance, and create/maintain automated tests to ensure robust, reliable code.
- Technical Strategy:
- Align technical strategies with business objectives to ensure development efforts support overall organizational goals.
- Team Values:
- Uphold the values of ownership, innovation, cooperation, and empathy, ensuring a customer-centric approach to development.
Skills
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 6+ years in software development with a focus on backend engineering.
- Proficiency: Golang, with a solid track record of backend service development.
- Technical Expertise:
- Database management (MongoDB).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Concourse).
- Proven ability to build scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs.
- Strong experience writing high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.
