Description
Infosys is looking for a skilled Python + Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Python programming and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate should have experience in data processing, object-oriented programming, and a strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP). This role involves direct client interaction, data analysis, and developing machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
Responsibilities
Python Programming:

- Develop and optimize Python scripts using libraries like NumPy and Pandas.
- Perform data visualization to generate insights and reports.
- Object-Oriented Software Design:
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build scalable and reusable software solutions.
- Text Processing & NLP:
- Work with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and text processing tools to analyze and manipulate unstructured data.
- Machine Learning:
- Implement and fine-tune machine learning models for classification, regression, and ranking problems.
- Leverage data-driven decision-making techniques to improve user experiences, especially for Indian markets.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, make recommendations, and improve machine learning models.
- Client Interaction & Reporting:
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and deliver detailed status reports.
- Maintain strong communication skills for presenting insights and interacting with stakeholders.
Skills
- Python Programming: Strong experience in Python scripting, particularly with NumPy, Pandas, and data visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
- Machine Learning: Knowledge of classification, regression, and ranking algorithms. Experience in applying these techniques to real-world problems.
- NLP & Text Processing: Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and working with unstructured data.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Strong design and development experience in OOP.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data to drive improvements and make decisions that enhance user experience.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to process data and solve complex problems.
- Client Communication: Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and delivering regular status updates.
