Rojgar Group is hiring for Senior Agronomist/Manager in Gurgaon

Job Title: Agronomist – Gurugram
Location: Gurugram
Salary: Up to 10 LPA

Responsibilities:

• Analyze agricultural data to develop innovative farming practices and enhance crop yield.
• Collaborate with farmers, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize the supply chain for procuring corn from the domestic market. Additionally, conduct field demonstrations and trials to ensure optimal crop yield and functionality.
• Partner with research institutions and industry leaders to experiment with and optimize corn varieties and production methods. Furthermore, educate and train farmers on best agricultural practices to increase profitability and reduce cultivation expenses.
• Identify and address challenges faced by growers in cultivating corn crops, and organize and lead farmers’ meetings to promote company interests and expand the network of domestic contract growers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture; Postgraduate qualifications in Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Agricultural Chemistry/Soil Science are advantageous.
• Proven experience (5-8 years) as an Agronomist with a strong focus on crop cultivation and agricultural practices. Moreover, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively. Additionally, experience in introducing new products to the market is preferred.
• Strong network with government agricultural officers, research institutes, and universities. Moreover, familiarity with developed market food safety standards is beneficial.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations within the agricultural industry is necessary.
