Job Title: Agronomist - Gurugram

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze agricultural data to develop innovative farming practices and enhance crop yield.
  • Collaborate with farmers, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize the supply chain for procuring corn from the domestic market. Additionally, conduct field demonstrations and trials to ensure optimal crop yield and functionality.
  • Partner with research institutions and industry leaders to experiment with and optimize corn varieties and production methods. Furthermore, educate and train farmers on best agricultural practices to increase profitability and reduce cultivation expenses.
  • Identify and address challenges faced by growers in cultivating corn crops, and organize and lead farmers' meetings to promote company interests and expand the network of domestic contract growers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture; Postgraduate qualifications in Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Agricultural Chemistry/Soil Science are advantageous.
